New Purse: CHANEL Zipped Wallet.

It’s my birthday coming up and well, my Vivienne Westwood purse is on it’s last legs really;/ SO I thought it might be the perfect opportunity to grow my CHANEL family.

After looking at lots of leather goods I’ve found my perfect purse – The CHANEL Zipped Wallet in Caviar leather – to match my Caviar 2.55, which also has gold hardware. BOOM.

One slight issue – can’t find the cost online, anyone know this?

Don’t All Rush At Once BUT… Vintage CHANEL At Blondie Boutique.

I was dashing out on my lunch today and was stopped in my tracks….

Apologies for the rubbish pic, I’ll [EDIT] this tomorrow and it’ll be much better!

I work right beside Blondie Vintage Boutique in Spitalfields (East London) and walk past this little shop every day to/from work/Tesco. FYI, Blondie Vintage Boutique is by the same folk as Absolute Vintage (located just round the corner). Blondie generally stocks more high end Designer Vintage goodies, but they very very very RARELY showcase these treats in their window; so as you can imagine I was most definitely stopped in my tracks.

I absolutely LOVE the classic chain print and wrote a post on this a month or so again, here>>>> My Current Obsession… Chain Print

So this Chanel Vintage bomber with chain print is AMAZING! Also, check out the Vintage silk scarves – to die for!

Additionally, I spy the Vintage Moschino belt I have hanging in my belt closet; I wonder how much Blondie are selling theirs for….

I thought it was absolutely amazing and just had to share! Heh! It looks like Karl Lagerfeld has a doppleganger afterall!

You would really never think a snowed-under barbecue could look like a person, nevermind someone so uniquely looking as Mr K! UNCANNY!

‘Coco Cocoon’ By CHANEL: Lily Allen and Karl Lagerfeld.

As I have previously reported, I was very keen to see the first shots of Lily Allen for CHANEL. The CoCo Cocoon Collection that Lily is the ‘face’ of is launching in CHANEL Boutiques on October 3rd. Can’t wait to see the collection! Meanwhile, the enigma that is Mr K Lagerfeld has been singing Lily’s praises….

Karl Lagerfeld: “I love Lily Allen. She looks a lot like Gabrielle Chanel and she is a self-made woman. She is cool, young and extremely witty. Photographing her for this advertising campaign was fantastic fun. She is extremely inspiring and is completely taken with the bags – with her typical English casualness!”

JudyPink has new hair!

TRUE STORY. So as I mentioned in previous posts I was due to have a change, afterall I’d been bleached blonde for almost 5 years…. so it was time for not only a change, but time to give my poor hair a rest! Obviously, it’s very difficult to do anything when you’ve got as much bleach into your hair as I have, so I decided to go red!

What do you think?!

I have to say it’s taking a lot of getting used to, even after a week I’m still shocked when I look in the mirror!

LILY ALLEN FOR CHANEL: The First Pic!

Not the best picture in the world, but it gives us a wee taste of what the Lily Allen CHANEL campaign is going to be like – and frankly, I actually can’t wait to see more!

The composition looks nice 🙂 I’d like to see more images of Lily’s face though! Hurry up CHANEL!

D.I.Y is definitely back in fashion…

Lily Allen for CHANEL.

I know this is slightly old news, I haven’t had time to get round to writing about this yet! Sorry guys! Also, apologies for this very suddenly turning into a CHANEL blog! Unfortunately, Chanel happens to be my favourite fashion house, so thats probably why I’m leaning more towards Chanel at the moment….

Anyway, this is by the by…

It has apparently been confirmed that British muscian and fashionista Lily Allen has been picked as the newest face of Chanel by Mr Karl Lagerfeld himself.

Lets be honest, it’s been on the cards for yonks! Lily is always front row at fashion weeks, whether that be Chanel or not, she’ll always be sporting at least one piece of Chanel. She owns dozens of Chanel handbags – and is most often carrying (rather roughly sometimes – which does upset me somewhat) the grey large camera bag.

I have to say I was, and still am, in two minds about this collaboration. I on the one hand, think its great. I actually quite like Lily now – although it was only last year she went a little bit mental and dyed her hair blonde-ish and then pink… and only a year before that when she was wearing the hideous prom dress/trainers combo. BUT how she has bloody well blossomed! Just look at her in the picture above, quite the ‘Chanel Girl‘. It makes me smile.

But still, what would Gabrielle Chanel say? Surely she’d be turning in her grave? Hmm. I’m not so sure. One thing I am sure about is I’m very excited to see the shoot and the campaign. I’m sure she’ll look amazing. She’ll be the face of the leather goods – about right really considering she’s never seen without the aforementioned leather goods in question!
