Who Wears ALLSAINTS: Jacqui Ainsley.

So you may, or may not know, that Jacqui Ainsley is the new lady friend of filmmaker and former Mr Madonna, Guy Ritchie. Jacqui playfully said goodbye to Mr Ritchie yesterday lunchtime wearing the AllSaints Deimos Dress and Sand Heels; while he sported an Andy Pandy pair of PJ’s!

BAFTA TV Awards: The Red Carpet.

I went to the 2010 BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday as a reporter for AllSaints. I headed down to the red carpet ready for all the stars of the small screen to arrive. Here’s what happened….

Follow AllSaints!

Facebook:/AllSaints
Twitter: @AllSaints_
Foursquare: /AllSaints Spitalfields

I could not have done anything without this trusty pass!

Some funny looking blue telephone box?

AllSaints on the red carpet! (L) Helle Maxi Dress, (R) Layla Dress.

Tolula Adeyemi wearing an AW10 preview (the Tavi) Dress, Celestine Heels and Benito Trench; all by AllSaints.

Zoe Hardman doing a quick link...

Lenora wore an amazing Alexander McQueen dress.

Ashley Jensen wore Moschino.

BAFTA TV Awards Host, Graham Norton, wore a sparkley D&G suit.

We couldn't believe it when Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester!) turned up! She looked lovely in Armani...

....but then an even bigger surprise came when Tim Burton rocked up!

Ah the lovely Brian Cox looked very dashing in a Paul Smith suit.

We got a bit of a shock when this lady turned up! Fashion faux-pas?

Ah here come the girls! (L-R) AW10 preview dress, Veridian Tux, Shivali Corset Dress and Embellished Cavalry Dress; all by AllSaints.

Olivia Lee wore Treasure Earrings, Shivali Corset Dress, Celestine Heels and Tia Bracelet; all by AllSaints.

Sophie Ellis-Bexter wore Vintage.

We loved her Vintage pearly clutch!

Gavin and Staceys, Joanna Page, wore Armani.

Helena Bonham-Carter wasn't stopping for anyone in her Agent Provocateur attire.

Mellina Messenger dashed through the red carpet wearing a golden Vintage gown.

Another lady in a rush! Wearing the Vellamo Dress by AllSaints.

Suranne Jones wore Halston Heritage, as favoured by Carrie Bradshaw in SATC2.

This Morning's Sharron Marshall opted for Vivienne Westwood and Louboutin patent heels. Yay or Nay on this one?

Amanda Holden arrived rather late wearing a Quintana couture dress and a lovely new 'doo.

The Ivy Restaurant And Bar – Round Two.

It’s my birthday tomorrow and James took me to The Ivy at the weekend to celebrate. We went this time last year; so we’ve now decided to make it a bit of an annual event for my birthday. (This time it took 8 weeks of desperately trying to get dinner reservations! AND we booked 2 months in advance! CRAZY). We had the most amazing meal, I just had to share!

To start I had the Buffalo mozzarella with foccacia, crushed broad bean pesto and vine tomatoes. While James had the grilled squid, chorizo and parsley salad. For mains I had Cornish lamb with sweetbreads & broad bean fricassée. I have to say, the lamb is served pink – this is the most amazing lamb I’ve ever ever aten. Absolutely amazing. I might also add, until I went back onto The Ivy website, I believed my lamb was served on a bed of Fois Gras… I just googled ‘sweetbreads’ and found this definition on Wiki. MENTAL. James had a rib eye steak, which has to be the biggest steak I’ve ever seen! It was huuuuuge! And beyond tasty! This came with a side of fries.

We then had an espresso each before squaring up the bill… Then we moved into The Ivy bar and had a round of cocktails.

Absolutely 5 star food with 5 star service. Brilliant. I can’t wait to go again next year! See you then The Ivy!

James and a lovely Whiskey Sour.

SATC2 Is Coming.

…I think I’m actually about to burst. I’m so bored of tightly closing my eyes and sticking my fingers in my ears when anything slightly SATC related comes up on the TV, in conversation or in magazines. I’m DESPERATE to just see it now!

Best thing is, I haven’t got a clue what happens! Thanks to my dutiful and dedicated self of course. (Massive lie to self, I know they end up in the desert? And I know Aiden makes an appearance – SHOCK HORROR indeed. That’s definitely all I know though).

BEYOND EXCITED MUCH?

I Love You, Mulberry.

Look at this beautiful Mulberry (carrier) bag that landed on my desk on Friday afternoon. I was easily beyond ECSTATIC.

I, very quickly, unloaded all my junk from my thrifty AllSaints Kensington tote and carefully placed it all into the compartments in my new Mulberry Bayswater. I’ve never smelt leather like it – absolutely amazing!

So without further a-do, allow me to introduce… MULBERS.

Mulberry Bayswater, Oak Natural Leather, £595.

To Clog Or Not To Clog?

As soon as the February 2010 VOGUE came out, with Alexa emblazoned on the front cover, wearing those faithful original CHANEL clogs, I think it was fair to say, we knew there and then, clogs would be massive this Summer. So, I think we have Alexa Chung to blame for the invasion of clogs in everyones SS10 collections and all the many CHANEL imitations we’ve already seen hitting the high street.

So, to clog or not to clog, that is the question? Take a look at my clog picks…

These are the original CHANEL clogs as seen on the SS10 fashion week runway.

Seanna, £68.00, Topshop.

(Topshop’s take on the CHANEL clog (not too sure how they get away with it, but hey ho!)

‘Howdy, £85, ASOS.com.

Selection of 3 clog styles, available from River Island, all £44.99.

Fur-lined Clogs by Miu Miu, $849.

Jimmy Choo and Marni’s take on Clogs.

‘Prima’, £85, Topshop.

(The studded sling back clog is pretty much the modern take on the Clog really).

SO! Will your Summer be all clogged up with clogs?

PS –  I hear that Clogs are a little bit tough… I found the below tips from lovely blogger, 5 inches and up.

I also have to share the best shoe fitting trick, that I had to use on these. Some of you may have heard of it, works best on leather/suede shoe that feels too tight and rub your feet..
1. wear the shoes on bare feet inside your house for a while so you know which part rubs and may cause blisters
2. buy moleskin tape/ fabric bandaid from the pharmacy and wrap a strip around the sore spot
3. soak your feet in water then dry them leaving the tape wet
4. wear your shoes with the wet tape on and the tight parts will mold perfectly to your feet, without stretching the whole shoe.

I left my head and my heart on the dancefloor.

This video needs zero introduction, but this is it you little monsters.

“Telephone” by Lady Gaga and Beyonce.

This is a pretty amazing music video right here (unfort, I can’t embed the 9 minute version because of Lady GaGa’s official YouTube channel not allowing such embedding links…)
