The BAFTA Rehearsal Day.

Friday 21st May 2010 – BAFTA’s Rehearsal – The Pelham Hotel, South Kensington.

As I may have mentioned, AllSaints have got a year long partnership with BAFTA – therefore AllSaints are a sponsor for the upcoming BAFTA TV Awards (6th June, London Palladium).

So, as it happens, I never ever really wear black… But I thought wearing black would make me look sophisticated (and you need to be sophisticated for a BAFTA’s rehearsal). As it also happens, Friday 21st May turned out to be the hottest day on earth, EVER. I also, very rarely use the London Underground as I’m a cyclist. Hot weather+black+the underground= Hot and not so sophisticated!

I rocked up at The Pelham, in oh-so-posh South Kensington early morning. The Pelham is tres pretty and literally round the corner from South Kensington Tube. So as soon as I arrived I helped set up the AllSaints room and make up the goodie bags!

After finishing off the AllSaints room, I was ready for my first appointment, with MAC. I had a full face of make up done; a completely different look to what I normally go for! So that was a nice change! I got loads of great tips and tricks too;o Not to mention the amazing goodie bag of MAC treats I walked away with!

I then headed off to the Mark Hill suite to chat to his to head stylists (these guys have just changed the lovely Fearne Cotton into more of a brunette!).

Off to my next appointment with the ladies from Hot Diamonds… who are supplying all the glittering jewellery for this years BAFTA‘s TV Awards.

What Christina Aguileria Looked Like Next.

Been wondering where Christina Aguilera had been recently… well, here she is with Nicole Richie (whom looks lovely with her new locks might I add). I don’t think I’ve ever been so shocked!

Firstly: THE MAKEUP. If you’re going to wear such pink blusher (like I do…) you REALLY don’t want to wear such horrendously applied red lipstick… or that amount of eye make up, it looks awfully trowled on! Honestly, what is she thinking? She’s totally gone from vamp to super tramp!

HAIR: Her hair looks just too harsh, she really can’t pull that blunt bob off – it looks more like a wig to be honest!

COUTURE: Goodness me, I just don’t get it! It just looks beyond cheap – jesus wept. I REALLY can’t get over this picture at all. Viscose and spaghetti straps are the fabric of the devil… and need I even comment on that ‘bling’ round her neck?! VILE.

FIGURE: What the hell has happened? Christina REALLY suited her curves, infact, she had pretty much a prefect figure in May (see below). In saying that, the pair of them could do with a good dinner or ten! Jeepers weepers, skin and bloody bone!

Overall, I JUST DON’T GET IT! Additionally, something else I can’t comprehend is that some newspapers have said that Christina’s ‘new slimline look’ is “amazing”. ERRR WHAT?!? Doesnt anyone else agree with me or am I just seeing something completely different to everyone else?!
