Look at this beautiful Mulberry (carrier) bag that landed on my desk on Friday afternoon. I was easily beyond ECSTATIC.
I, very quickly, unloaded all my junk from my thrifty AllSaints Kensington tote and carefully placed it all into the compartments in my new Mulberry Bayswater. I’ve never smelt leather like it – absolutely amazing!
So without further a-do, allow me to introduce… MULBERS.
But then I was in Selfridges London, on Friday and couldn’t help but notice the Louis Vuitton Noé duffle bag. It stopped me in my tracks… then a very lovely looking lady picked it up and tried it on for size. I have to say, I’ve never really been a massive LV fan, but this is a pretty perfecto looking duffle. Also, get this, the Louis Vuitton Noé was first created in 1932 to carry champagne bottles! Lavish central.
You are looking at an auction for a pair of amazing practically new patent ankle boots.
These head turning ankle pixie style boots have buckle detail, a lace up front and inner zip. These boots are so on trend and will be a great AW09 wardrobe investment – wear with skinny jeans and a fur coat (see my other listings!) or with a ditzy print dress. Unfortunately I’m a size 36 and these boots are just too big for me – they were worn once to work and back!
Great for a variety of looks…Retro/Vintage/High Fashion!
Well, it’s safe to say that my lovely work folk have had to put up with a lot from me this week, especially my sheer anger and frustration of brands ripping off other brands and designers. It’s actually SHAMELESS and without naming and shaming *ahem*COUGH TOPSHOP COUGH* or going too deep into particular products it’s quite frankly revolting and has actually made me red with fury.
However, that aside, I will share with you the Chloe AW08 rip off that Office are currently ‘promoting’. I actually don’t know how brands get away with it, hopefully they won’t for much longer! Fair enough, take “inspiration” from brands and catwalk, but hell, don’t just copy like for like! That’s not cool.
Original and best. Chloe AW Pre-Fall 2008 Studded Ankle Boot $1,245
Kate Bosworth never had these beauts off last Autumn!
These are the Office ‘fakes’. The literal only difference is the stud colouring, which in the fake pair is silver not gold. I’d prefer gold anyway. Damn me and my expensive taste!
So what do you think of the whole designer/brand fakes scenario? Good, bad or plain ugly?
Definitely found my next bag purchase… It’s the Navy Jumbo Classic Flap with Gold Hardware. I want this in the Caviar – does anyone know if this is available? Only seen it in the lambskin (as below). Already tired of my grey lambskin. It just does not hold its shape well AT ALL. I also believe that the caviar leather actually looks more expensive than the lambskin too – much better quality! This is absolutely the case when looking at both the black and grey classic flaps I have…..
I’ve seen that the retail price for this one (as above) is around $3,000. Any idea what this would translate to in GBP (£) and of course, in the Caviar leather as opposed to the lambskin?
Theres so many beautiful Chanel pieces I’m desperate to purchase – more blogs to follow this one! I hate having to save! Rubbish!
