…the Mad Paradise print!?! This print is screen printed onto dresses, tops, t-shirts even AllSaints Childrenswear and Beachwear!The print is made up of hand drawn ink illustrations of a paradise garden of prehistoric birds and botanicals; inspired by antique vintage Audubon paintings.

I absolutely love it. I think it’s a really nice alternative to aztec prints, skulls and crossbones 🙂

This is one of favourite Tee’s, and is by Topshop BOUTIQUE. I had wanted it for aggggggggges and you can see my original post on it here, dated April 2008! Infact, I didn’t actually buy this wonderful tee until September 2008 (image capture dated Sept 18th) after umming and arrrhhhing over the fit. It’s the tee that started the whole slashed sided/sleeveless tee craze that so many people have dreadfully recaptured. Anyway, this tee is a blatant rip-off of the Martin Margeila Fantasy Horse print used on the £700 dress….which is in my original post!

I am the Casual Trousers Specialist at Topshop 214, Oxford Street.

As off 2 weeks ago I became the Casual Trousers Specialist at the Topshop flagship store at London’s famous Oxford Circus. At first glance it sounds quite boring… but alas, it is not!

I look at the daily/weekly figures, mess about with the VM on the shopfloor, look at new lines; and every Thursday morning I get an important visit from Head Office who come and look at the floor and my stock room and my figures. I don’t suppose I can indulge in my sales plans/targets etc but I can tell you that in my first few days I was already +48% on the week previous, by the end of that week I had smashed my plan for £11,000! Which is crazy money! Recession? What recession?! heh. The week ending Saturday 24th January my Casual Trousers dept had ended a massive +66% on plan. So I’m really happy.

SO! What does Casual Trousers (code 16) consist of?

– Jogging bottoms – Long/Short.

-Leggings – every single legging possible!

-Hareem Pants – Jersey/Cotton.

– Tapered Leg Trousers – Cotton/The more formal trouser we hold for the dept.

The leggings are what’s really driving the sales at the moment; and its not difficult to see why! We have so much choice at the moment, it must make shopping for you lot very difficult indeed!

Anyone seen Avril Lavigne recently?

Dear me, have you ever heard of someone getting stuck in a rut? Well, here is photographic evidence of such a saying!

Avril being out of the limelight had had a certain lemon affect hasn’t it really?!

Avril just hasn’t grown up has she?! I was dressing non too dissimilar back in the 90s… lets say a good 10 years ago! AT LEAST! We’re in 2009 and she is still looking the same as her days lusting after some ruddy ‘sk8r boi’ (urgh that spelling makes me bork!)

I just don’t understand to be honest. I’m not being critical of her apparent signature style; at least I suppose, she’d “co-ordinated”, with all that yellow and black;  BUT she is older than I am, and she factually looks at least 5 years YOUNGER than me. I feel like shes younger than I.

And those jelly bracelets, also affectionately known as “shag bands”, my goodness me , those went out of fashion with slinkys and Timmy Mallet rofl.
