My current obsession….

I’m currently obsessing over the classic Gucci chain print! I got this red scarf about 5 years ago, I brought it out from the back of my wardrobe after seeing Cheryl Cole on the XFactor wearing the similar McQueen rope print top (below)

Alexander McQueen: Rope print and applique detail tank, $324

I’ve been browsing over ASOS.com more recently and absolutely LOVE IT. They’ve got Motel on there who’ve been using the chain print on all of their dresses, tops and even blazers (my FAVE-est thing ever! Oh hello MASSIVE Christmas list!)

MOTEL: Chain and dogtooth print blazer, £50.

MOTEL: Chain print dress with exposed front zip, £28

MOTEL: Chain print jumpsuit, £45

MOTEL: Exclusive to ASOS, Chain print dress, £40

You can purchase Motel merchandise online from MOTELRocks, ASOS.com and Topshop.com. Motel is also stocked in many Topshop stores as a store concession.

Who Wears What: Who Killed Summer?

I had noticed that Jude, of Who Killed Summer fame, wears a fair bit of directional highstreet. Since I added the Who Killed Summer post I had lots of questions about the clothing, so I’m dedicating a good old ‘Who Wears What’ to Who Killed Summer!

This post I’m looking at Jude…

So, from Episode 3, I noticed that Jude loves his highstreet clothing, especially AllSaints ‘Ino Swimshorts’, ‘Void Tee’ (also on that Channel 4 advert that’s before Comedy programmes) and the ‘Rogue Gallery’ Tee. Really really like those tye dye swimshorts, much better than an average floral/block colour pair.

jude1

Jude and Claire relaxing in France, Jude wears the politically correct ‘rogue gallery’ tee and the aforementioned ‘ino swimshorts’.

jude2

In true Jude style, his head is missing in this piece of B-Roll! (a la the incident with Liam Gallagher! heh) But you can tell it’s him wearing his signature AllSaints style; the Void Tee and a leather jacket with skinny black jeans.

jude3

A rock-and-roll star? Maybe… Jude again, wears an AllSaints checked ‘confederate shirt’, and the reoccurring leather jacket at Bennicasim.

Also, I couldn’t help but notice that Tete was wearing the amazing Amos Gilet – noticed there’s a few still online! You’d be really lucky to get your hands on one! I do still adore the Amos Jacket though!

My Wardrobe Favourites: Bleeding CHANEL Tee.

Bleeding CHANEL Tee, £???.

I got this amazing CHANEL Tee for Christmas from James. It’s got a slashed neck which can sit off one/both shoulders; very pretty.

Say hello CHANEL – “Chanello”.

My two amazing Classic Chanel flap’s sat side by side 🙂

Chanel Classic XL Jumbo Flap in Lambskin (Grey)

Chanel Classic Medium Flap in Caviar Leather (Black)

I absolutely adore them both, using my new grey one lots recently, haven’t had my wee Coco (black) out much of late. I’m keeping her for best:) My grey one is MASSIVE and I get soooo much in it, its brilliant. ALTHOUGH I’m already umming-and-arrrrring over my next Chanel purchase. I think three Chanel Classic flaps is a good number – so thinking about getting just a jumbo version in maybe the beige. I’d like to keep it quite classic for all three, then they won’t date 🙂

I’d have to have this in the gold hardware though!

Any other ideas or suggestions?

28 Days Later anyone?

As I walked through Spitalfields to Liverpool Street Station after work this evening I listened to “Paris Is Burning” and strolled along watching all the ‘suits’ dash to the station. I was very happily minding my own business when I noticed the usual Evening Standard Newspaper billboard stands… “25 Britons Tested For Killer Swine Flu”. At that very instant I was convinced I was at the very beginning of 28 Days Later… or some zombie film equivalent.

And it’s canny scary man. If theres any confirmed cases here in London, that it, I’m locking us both in the apartment and we’ll live off beans, sweetcorn and weetabix until its all over. There has been 2 confirmed cases here in the UK so far… and 22 odd have been tested/have mild symptoms.

You can keep up to date here at the BBC’s website….. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8021813.stm
