James literally bought this XBOX 360 Arcade console for the latest and greatest Grand Theft Auto release. He also bought Grand Theft Auto seperately. He’s selling both together as a neat package on eBay. He has completed GTA and subsequently has no need for this XBOX now (we’re not console players, apart from the Wii, but that doesn’t count!) So yeah, its ACTUALLY brand new!!

So please please PLEASE help us in our funding for our big bad move to the big bad smoke!

Clearly this package is well sought after, still! So get you bidding guns at the ready! [Please pass on the details of this auction to your family/friends/related parties! Thanks!]

The Shoe Project: Dip Dyed Shoes.

Clearly, Tie-Dyes and Dip-Dyes are all around, from the catwalk to the highstreet and in your own home! It is a harp back to childhood, and I have to say I’m not a fan of traditional tie dye clothing techniques. I can also safely say I’ve never once worn tie-dyed clothing and I really hope to keep it that way! But PRADA brought along a different kind of ‘Dip Dying’, in the form of sexy, seductive, unqiue shoes! hurrah. Am I convert? I’d say so…

The Shoe Project: “Shuffle” T-Bar Shoes by TOPSHOP.

-“Shuffle” in Light Grey, by TOPSHOP, £60.00. (Also available in Raspberry).

Firstly, I want to look at the price-point of these new shoes – its slightly overpriced, even by Topshops standards; and especially since the prices had gone down too. Rather disappointing indeed!

But thats by-the-by…

I love these shoes, they’re reminiscent of some I got once before on uniform called “SHOLA”. Its nice to see a ‘pretty’ and somewhat ‘delicate’ shoe in comparison to all the clumpy and designer inspired platforms available at the moment. In comparison however though, the heel on this shoe is rather thick, which offers support and comfort; as does the T-Bar strap. The leather on these shoes is amazing, its slightly oily to touch which is unusual.

These shoes look great with pretty dresses and edgy skirts.

I originally set out to write a post on Shoes, and shoes alone for the ‘Woven’ trend I’ve noticed… but I also came across some lovely handbags and other attires, so I’ll add those at the end!

I really like this woven trend thats come about, inparticular, the shoes, so without further ado!

The Shoe Project: Chanel inspires TOPSHOP.

Capped toed shoes came into the fashion focus during the Winter collections, but its the Spring/Summer collections that have really brought this trend alive.

CHANEL have always dominated in the capped toe department, and Topshop clearly took their inspiration from older Chanel (Couture) Shoes, (see below).

-Couture Shoe, with sock detail.

-Mid height heel.

-Mid height heel with bow detail.

So with this in mind, lets have a look at how CHANEL have inspired TOPSHOP.

-‘KOKO’. Flat toe capped shoe (comes in two colourways). £35.

-‘KOKO’. Flat toe capped shoe (comes in two colourways). £35.

-‘SHAVONNE’. Suede and Leather mix, mid-height heel. £35.

-‘SARAH’. High-heigh heels with patent contrast detail. £60. COMPLETELY SOLD OUT IN ALL STORES NOW.

TOPSHOP’s shoes are the minute are really well priced, with those mid-height heels mostly coming in at around £35, when the shoes normally begin at around £55! BONUS.

The Shoe Project: T-Bar Shoes.

So for this post I’m giving an idea of the T-Bar shoes I own, and love. T-bar’s are fantastic, the offer a little bit more support with the straps, than you get with normal shoes; and whats more, they’re totally this season! I really like the mid-height ones with pretty Tea-Dresses for a circa 1940s feel, or team a super high pair with your favourite skinny jeans a la Kate Moss!

HEELS, MID-HIGH.

SUZIE – RED, from TOPHOP, £55.

I’ve had these shoes re-heeled a dozen times! I’ve literally worn them out, but they’re still the comfiest pair of shoes I’ve ever bought, I just wish I’d bought them in all the colours when we had them in at work! But thats sod’s law for you! Thats why they sold out so quickly, the comfort factor. They have a lovely sized heel and the colourways were really good. In fact, these shoes match my Vivienne Westwood bag PERFECTLY! (see below!)

-Top of the Eiffel Tower in Suzies and complete with my Vivienne Westwood bag.

SUZIE – BLACK.

-Loves young dream… of perhaps just our feet! The concrete outside Moulin Rouge.

HEELS, HIGH.

SAMIA – Cobalt. TOPSHOP, £55.

These are my ‘Paris Shoes’, bought specially for our romantic trip to Paris! These shoes sold out like wildfire – so I’m tremendously glad I bought them when I did. The colour is beautiful, and goes with much more than I would have thought. Also, the gold buckle detail to the front gives a uniqueness to the shoe. With wear, these shoes have grown more character and have a real vintage feel, very 1940s chic!
