ALICE R.I.P: May 2006- June 2009.
It’s official, my absolutely beautiful little vintage bicycle, also fondly known as Alice, has died. Her chain broke on a trip to Tesco and because she is an antique no chain is replaceable. Of course I am beyond devastated as she is my pride and joy, however we have decided to keep her as an heirloom and I am now on the search for another bicycle. Alice is also not replaceable and never will be, but alas I must move on, and frankly I can’t afford TFL’s ridic prices, nor can I tolerate their lack of actual transporting. Therefore cycle power it is!
I’m after a little shopper – Alice, to be honest, was a little too big for me, hence why I fell off (I couldn’t touch the floor when I was sat on the saddle), something like the below would be perfect! I’ve got the basket off Alice, so having a basket on the front isn’t a complete necessity; nor is colour because I’m likely to spray paint the new bicycle gold 
I can collect from London (and surrounding areas) and can pay cash on collection or you could even have a listing on eBay and I can pay via Paypal and have you send it via courier – whatever is easiest

‘Bonny Boots’, £165.00, AllSaints.
I had absolutely wanted these boots since I saw them online before Christmas, and finally, I own a pair! James bought them for my birthday, full price aswell, eep. However, they are well worth every single penny!
They were the last pair in the Canarby Street store, and size 3! Must have been fate really, considering most stores sold out in April!
I’ve never had them off since I got them either! So they’re all snuggly and comfy as now; they’re also looking quite worn now too, which is exactly what I wanted!

Last Monday, it was my birthday and I was getting up at 7:30am (5:30am GMT) to go on a boat cruise around Zakynthos in blistering 35c heat…. this Monday I’ll have an hours lie in, lucky me, and I’ll be getting up at 6:30am GMT, in probably half the 35c temperature, probably in pouring rain and then I’ll be having another fight with the wonder that is TFL.
BOO.
So yes, the reason I’ve been quiet on the blogging front for the past 2 weeks involves lots of last minute holiday shopping, Girls Aloud, packing, re-packing, aforementioned holiday, birthday, going straight back to work and The Ivy! I’m shattered to say the least! Going to post a few pics below of the events that have occurred and I’ll post more in depth blogs later – especially of Girls Aloud!

I’ve been quite poorly this last week, in and out of the doctors, and I’ve even had my first blood test! (Nothing serious!) So apart from pulling together some very expensive wish-lists, I’ve also been trying to wish away the next two weeks (and 5 days – but whats 5 days between friends?!) so I can be off on my jollies! I’m beyond excited! I’m so worn out and in desperate need of this holiday I cannot even begin to tell you!
We’re going to Zakynthos (Zante – Kalamaki) in Greece- never ever been to Greece before so thoroughly looking forward to it.
So here’s some pretty pics of where we’re off to!
We’ve booked direct through the hotel, and got separate flights – which worked out about millions pounds cheaper first off! But we’ve found out that through the travel agents you can only get a TWIN room, at the back of the hotel. We’ve managed to bag ourselves one of the DOUBLE rooms at the top overlooking the pool (see above photo). So very excited about that! We’re right beside the beach, in quite a quiet area, which is what we so very desperately wanted and we get a private car from the airport! bonus! We’re flying from Gatwick, which is cool, flown from there before, its a great airport – we love our airports, it where the holiday begins really! So we’re be getting there 6 hours early ;o
Also, just beside our beach is Caretta Beach, which is renowned for its Loggerhead Turtle inhabitants! Amazing! We’re planning on going on the boat trip to the caves and ship wreck (see below) and just plain ecstatic about all the food really!
